Who should be using this program?

The program is designed to best meet the needs of learners between the ages of three and six, but the younger they begin, the better. With reading, many children will need no further introduction than reading than the two levels of dEcode® for Kids. With that solid foundation in decoding, they suddenly burst out into full-fledged reading, acquiring phonetics, sight words and comprehension quickly and naturally. With numbers, by developing early numeracy, children are ready to add and subtract.

Some kids will require further support, though, with detailed teaching of these stages. Here the full dEcode® system is standing by ready to help. Developed over thirty years of clinical practice with dyslexic kids and adults, the full dEcode® system provides more in-depth drilling practice to overcome specific sorts of problems. Your child probably does not need that kind of help — but if he or she does, the dEcode® for Kids system will help let you know.
