dEcode® For Kids Numbers was developed in order to address the following factors:

•  Sound to symbol attachment (recognition, memory)

•  Sequencing processing

•  Conceptual understanding of pure number sense. This involves (a) understanding different quantities; more and less; (b) visual patterning which develops numerous ways of recognizing different patterns of objects reflecting the same number

•  Learning how to write each number appropriately

•  Development of fine motor and eye/hand coordination

•  Visual patterning (visual short term memory)

•  Visual memory

•  Auditory memory

dEcode® For Kids – Numbers starts with the different ways of writing the number “one” and again features the voice of Josh. The CD is supplemented by an extensive series of fun workbooks aimed at consolidating number concepts through contrasting and patterning, in much the same way as the reading program.
